Our Mission
It’s no secret that we need to do a better job teaching math. Not just in the U.S., but in most countries. Here is just one statistic: Three out of four U.S. high school seniors are not proficient in math.
A significant piece of the solution is giving people of all ages the language they need to learn and do math. It’s hard to learn a subject when the book, screen, or teacher is using words in ways you don’t understand. It’s hard to solve word problems when you’re lost because the wording seems unnatural and beyond your grasp.
